Architecturally-designed, it is a flexible space, suitable for an office, gym, or a number of other uses. We named it Focal Point with the vision that it would someday be home to many. A wall conceals the garden room, which sits to the back. Our passion for photographing people led us to open our studio in 1973. Outside, in the walled back garden the patio area leads to a raised lawn.

Large windows to the side make a feature of the granite garden wall, while large sliding doors and tiles that continue out to the patio ensure that the indoor and outdoor spaces flow.Ī large single slab stone island creates a focal point for the space, while there are also concealed utility and cloak rooms just off this space. To the back of the house, the kitchen and living area sits in a modern extension. They would have originally been two rooms – the dividing doors have been removed to open up the space, which has a sash window with bespoke shutters, a panelled wall and two gas insert fires. To the left of this space are the interconnected living and dining rooms, currently used by the owners as one large living space.
